My name is Niko. I just turned 4 but I still have a lot of puppy in me between my energy love and love of playing. I was returned to the rescue for marking but my foster family hasn’t had much of a problem with that. I did try a couple times when I first got here but all they had to do was call my name and say no and I stopped what I was doing. I’m pretty sensitive and want you to be happy so I respond well to “no” but I’ll get anxious if you say it harshly. I get along well with the other dogs and cats in the house. I’m a little more submissive so there haven’t been any disagreements with the other residents. I really like Himalayan chews and playing with toys – I’m also pretty great at catching treats if you toss them to me. Like most lugs I love being close to my people and sleeping in bed though I get into my kennel with no complaint when the people are leaving the house.
